Sciforma + One2Team = Vantage

Sciforma + One2Team = Vantage

This has been my last project at Sciforma / One2Team. The aim was to produce a navigation concept for the new platform Vantage. This platform will be hosting both Sciforma and One2Team products, under the names “Plan” and “Deliver”.

Concept

The idea is to create a shell, which allows users of both independent products to navigate from one another, with a single sign-in. The concept has to be user-friendly, yet sustainable enough technically for the development teams to POC it.

All users acess the platform through the same sign-in page. They then land directly on a homepage. From this homepage, they have acess from the menu to either modules or a quick acess to their favorite projects, that will open as an independent overlay.

The modules are a way to break down both solutions into pieces that make sense when working on project management:

  • Projects: all I need to manage project timelines, plan work to be done, assign resources, follow up on deliverables…

  • My work: all the tasks that I have created for myself, or that are assigned to me…

  • Resources: all I need to manage the resources, humain or costs of my team, my department, my organization

  • Dashboards: getting a graphic overview of all that’s going on

Each module comes with a simple mode, where we aim that 80% of the most common actions can be done, and an expert mode, where users will find the remainin 20% most complex features.

Each persona will condition what the platform delivers. The homepage content will change from one user role to another, as well as the set of modules offered, the project rights, the access to the expert mode and even the features inside of the different pages. A fully tailored experience, for every project contributor. From the most strait-forward task management swim-lane for team members to the more expert simulations for portfolio managers.
