For its client, Cave Coopérative de la Rose Pauillac, Cap Sciences partnered with Limelight and Eugène! to design and create a unique wine tourism experience.
The experience narrates the history of the Cave Coopérative de la Rose Pauillac through a story woven with light and shadow. Visitors transition between these states: sometimes in the light, where they are informed, discover, and comprehend; sometimes in the shadow, where they feel and form their own impressions; and sometimes between the two, embarking on a narrative that is both factual and dreamlike, allowing their imagination to roam freely while being guided by "The Rose." These evocative transitions are realized throughout the journey by a series of subtle and overt references, forming the guiding thread of the visitor experience: a path of light and shadow.
This concept also establishes a strong central theme and communication message: we will shine a light on the unsung heroes in a region renowned for its grand châteaux and famous names. A rich vocabulary supports this narrative, including phrases like "acting in plain sight," "stepping out of the shadows," "in the light of something," "shedding light on," "garment of light," and "bringing to light."
